Consulting Options
Initial Consults
Open to students at any stage, we review your academic selections and extracurricular activities for the coming year and set the course for your high school career. Initial consults include an overview of the college application process.
Comprehensive Packages
This package is exactly that, comprehensive. It is a soup-to-nuts package that includes all aspects of the college application process, from the initial consultation through the fall of Freshman year. We will help you find the right college by building a balanced college list, and providing advice on testing, scholarships and your financial and social goals. Next, we will help brainstorm the best essay topics for you and guide all writing and edits. We will also navigate all the applications, and keep track of deadlines and additional requirements, including portfolios, interviews and overall strategy. All of the above is provided on a one-on-one basis and is individually tailored to your needs.
Application Completion Sessions
In early summer, we offer small group sessions to help students not only jump start their applications but also learn how to present their information as completely, accurately, concisely, and as appealing as possible.
Consulting and Essay Packages
Limited package includes two hours of college consulting with four hours working with an essay specialist. These packages are only offered on a space-available basis starting in the late spring.
Hourly Packages
Consultants may offer a la carte services on a limited basis.

The college essay matters by revealing something important about you that your grades and test scores can’t—your personality. It can give admission officers a sense of who you are, while showcasing your writing skills. We will help you craft your best work.
