Wendie Lubic
Wendie Lubic brings a wealth of experience to her educational consulting. She is a Certified Educational Planner (CEP) 
and a professional member of IECA, NACAC and PCACAC and has taken classes in Independent Educational Consulting at UC Irvine. Wendie has worked with parents and students since 1996, as a certified Parent Educator at the Parent Encouragement Program, and as a Professor of Graphic Design at American University. She became interested in educational consulting as she assisted her own children chart their courses into the world of college and beyond. Wendie is available as a parenting coach, and educational consultant through PEP. As a former journalist and editor, she has extensive experience editing college admissions essays, and her years in graphic design and as a professor, help her evaluate art portfolios as part of the application process. Wendie’s emphasis is on reducing the stress and anxiety that has become a part of the college application process. She believes that the student should be in charge of the application process, and consultants and parents can play an important role by supporting the student’s efforts, and broadening their horizons.
Diana Blitz
Diana Blitz is an experienced college counselor with over twenty years devoted to Washington area public school systems. As a professional school counselor, she worked with a diverse group of students including low-income and first-generation students, English language learners, those seeking highly selective schools, and students with learning disabilities. Diana has guided thousands of seniors and their families through the college application process including: high school course and extracurricular planning, resume writing, college list development, applications and college essay writing, and interview preparation. Diana is a frequent presenter at parent meetings and served as a trainer for other college counselors in the public school systems. Prior to counseling, Diana was a high school teacher at a local independent school. Keeping students at the center of decision making is at the core of the work Diana does as an educational consultant. She ensures that each client is powerfully engaged as an active partner in the college process and emerges from this experience as a responsible young adult.
Magda Mooers
A native of Washington, DC, Magda Mooers, has over twenty-five years of experience working with students and parents in schools as a teacher, tutor, mentor and school administrator. Magda has recently transitioned to full-time college counseling. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education, attended UCLA Extension working towards a certificate in College Counseling and the IECA Summer Institute in 2021. Her college counseling journey began by helping students she tutored organize their college search and application process, including her own three children, as they navigated the college admissions process. A former Division III athlete herself, her college counseling experience includes working with both Division I and Division III student-athletes to navigate the recruitment process. Her personal experience includes working closely with coaches and fellow parents at both Boston College and Catholic University, where two of her children were members of the swim team. Magda implements a student-centered college admissions philosophy to help each student better understand their strengths and interests in identifying the colleges that best fits them. She is passionate about the college admissions process and believes in the students she advises.
