Open to students at any stage, we review your academic selections and extracurricular activities for the coming year and set the course for your high school career. Initial consults include an overview of the college application process.
This package is exactly that, comprehensive. It is a soup-to-nuts package that includes all aspects of the college application process, from the initial consultation through the fall of Freshman year. We will help you find the right college by building a balanced college list, and providing advice on testing, scholarships and your financial and social goals. Next, we will help brainstorm the best essay topics for you and guide all writing and edits. We will also navigate all the applications, and keep track of deadlines and additional requirements, including portfolios, interviews and overall strategy. All of the above is provided on a one-on-one basis and is individually tailored to your needs.
Hourly and Essay Packages
For students looking for help in specific areas, including essay development, we do offer a la carte services on an hourly basis or as part of an essay package.
One-year contracts are available for 9th and 10th grade students. These contracts include meetings to get the High School years off on the right track, discussions of class scheduling, summer plans, community service and extracurricular activities. These services are also available for students with 504 Plans or IEPs. Students who have one-year contracts have first priority for Comprehensive Packages.
Application Completion Sessions
In late Summer and early Fall, we offer small group sessions to help students not only jump start their applications but also learn how to present their information as completely, accurately, concisely, and as appealing as possible.
The classes you take in high school tell the story of your interests and achievements. We help ensure that your choices reflect you well, and show academic challenge, rigor and good decision-making while also making sure that you fulfill college admissions requirements by taking 4 years of your “critical 5.”
There is so much more to choosing a college than the name! We work with you to develop a list filled with “first choice” schools that meet your academic, social, career, location and cultural needs.
With so many application platform choices, we help you choose the right one for your college choices to save time, and complete it to thoroughly reflect your strengths.
The college essay matters by revealing something important about you that your grades and test scores can’t—your personality. It can give admission officers a sense of who you are, while showcasing your writing skills. We will help you craft your best work.
There is more to going to college than getting accepted! We guide you through scholarship applications, packing lists,
parents weekend and more!
